Winter School 2008-2009
A network discussing the complex interaction between the GI tract, the immune system and development of inflammatory diseases have initiated the Winter School 2008-2009. The network hypothesize that the function and reaction of the GI is central for development of e.g. allergy and obesity.
The Winter School 2008-2009 focused on:
"The role of the gastrointestinal tract (GI) for development of allergy and obesity"
The purpose of the Winter School 2008-2009 was to get a common understanding of the area and to identify needs and focus of further research and cooperation. The Winter School 2008-2009 was approved as a PhD course at the Technical University of Denmark (2 ECTS).
Six seminars took place from November 2008 until March 2009:
- November 11 2008: Allergy and Obesity
