Introducing the baltfood project
baltfood - The Baltic Sea Region Food Cluster: Innovation and Competitiveness in Action. The idea of networking among business and scientific communities in the food industry is the main driving force in the baltfood project. The project has been started with 13 partners from universities, public institutions and food industry networks.
Our principal goal is to provide support for small and midsize businesses, in recognizing trends, transform research into products and penetrate international markets. Read more at baltfood's webpage.
ØFN is part of the project and arranged a "Baltic Food Academy" workshop in April discussing an ICT-based pilot course for food companies in the Baltic Sea Region. The course will be launched by the end of the year and is free of charge. You can read more about the workshop in the first baltfood newsletter.
