WHO gets tough on trans-fatty acids

Trans fatty acids from industrially hardened fats should be limited or excluded from the diet, says The World Health Organisation, WHO, in a report on health effects from trans fatty acids. The trans fatty acids should be replaced with non-hardened unsaturated fatty acids, and not with saturated fatty acids.
