The project
The project Social Innovation 2.0 is progressing. A project-partnership consisting of actors from the universities ( Copenhagen Business School, Roskilde University, Lund University and Malmö University), the regional municipalities (the City of Copenhagen and the City of Malmö) and the support system ( Center for Social Economy, KPH Projects, Copenhagen Business Centre, Selfmade, Stapelbäddsparken and Center for Public Entrepreneurship) is being formed.
Our first network-meeting attracted more than 100 actors from the Swedish and the Danish side of Øresund, and we got a lot of valuable input that has formed the direction of the project. We are really happy to see that the evaluations were so overwhelmingly positive to our initiative, and that there was such tremendous interest for cross-border collaboration within the field.
We are now in the process of specifying specific activities for different actors in the future Interreg-project. This is done in dialogue with the actors and we are for the moment arranging joint-meetings for the different groups. A Rapid-Prototyping seminar will be held December 16 which will produce a prototype to an application, which there is mutual agreement between the fields’ actors about where we see the challenges and what we can do about them.
