WE promote enrepreneurship

Øresund Entrepreneurship is a cross-border organisation that works to promote entrepreneurship education at university level.

We explore, exploit, stimulate, and develop entrepreneurship and enterprising behaviour at the universities in the Øresund Region.

Through cross-border co-operation and networks we aim to take students, educators, researchers, business, and society to a higher level.

We believe that entrepreneurship education leads to knowledgeable and independent students that will contribute to economic growth in the Øresund Region by establishing their own businesses or innovating existing organisations. Therefore we support educators at the 9 universities in the region in establishing entrepreneurship courses and we urge and motivate students to do these courses. In addition, we facilitate cooperation between academia and business for the benefit of students, educators and people from business organisations.

Øresund Entrepreneurship was launched in September 2006 as an independent entity under the Øresund University and is co-financed by the Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority, the Swedish Government, Scania Region, The Capital Region of Denmark and Region Zealand.
