Supporting EU’s Freight Transport Logistics Action Plan on Green Corridors Issues
Third Regional SuperGreen Workshop Malmö, Sweden, March 10, 2011
The project entitled “Supporting EU’s Freight Transport Logistics Action Plan on Green Corridors Issues”, abbreviated name “SuperGreen” is a Coordination and Support Action, co-funded by the European Commission in the context of the 7th Framework Programme. The project involves 22 partners from 13 European countries.
SuperGreen aims to assist the Commission with defining the ‘Green Corridor’ concept and promotes the development of European freight logistics in an environmentally friendly manner. The objectives of the SuperGreen project concern supporting the development of sustainable transport networks by fulfilling requirements covering environmental, techni¬cal, economic, social and spatial planning aspects. The Malmö workshop will be the third regional workshop of the project and will pro¬vide a forum for dissemination and discussion on topics such Swedish projects Green Corridors, EWTCII, Scandria, TransBaltic and Öresund EcoMobility, progress on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and related methodology, and interim results on corridor benchmarking.
Based on the above, we are delighted to invite you to Malmö on 10 March 2011 to take part in this regional workshop and contribute to the benchmarking of European Green Corridors.
