Workshop on Commercial Opportunities in Satellite Communication

Via the ARTES programme, the European Space Agency (ESA) supports the development of technologies, products and services based on satellite communication. The objective is to promote the development of telecommunications products and services as well as integrated applications, which are competitive on the global commercial market.
Through the ARTES program several Danish projects have received development funding and the results have been very promising. In the period 2008-10 a total of 3 million Euros have been allocated to Danish companies. Find out more about the ARTES programme at the ARTES homepage.
This workshop will enable Danish companies to:
- Obtain information on how to get funding for development projects – both for projects which are close to market and more long term
- Meet the largest players in European satellite industry – both space and ground segments - and discuss opportunities for cooperation
- Provide input to the technology portfolio that ARTES should support in the future.
Representatives from ESA and European industry will attend the workshop.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge. The workshop will be conducted in English.
