Sustainability & Growth

Culturally Driven Business Development

The creation of growth and innovation in already established organisations and industries is a continual process, which is essential for an ongoing development of society. In an effort to further this growth, cultural organisations have in co-operation with the industries developed different means to achieve this continual growth.

The meeting between the creative nature of culture - its good sense of trends and innovation - and the structured financial gaze of the industries has proven equally fruitful to both parties. The project on Culturally Driven Business Development strives to develop and strengthen this innovative co-operation between arts and industries and will facilitate the bridging of gaps between these two sectors.

The primary target group of the project is on the one hand private and public industries operating in the immediate vicinity of the project, and on the other hand organisations working with culture or the experience sector in that same area.

The aim of the project is:

  • To create growth and innovation for the local industries.
  • To promote and strengthen regional diversity.
  • To promote and strengthen local identities.
  • To increase the co-operation between culture, tourism and cultural heritage.
