Johan Wiklund on Advancing firm growth research

On Friday 28 May 2010 Johan Wiklund will be visiting CIRCLE for a research seminar which will be held from 10:00 to 12:00.

Professor Johan Wiklund, Syracuse University, USA will present his study on "Advancing Firm Growth Research" based on the article McKelvie, A. & Wiklund, J. (2010), Advancing firm growth research: A focus on growth mode instead of growth rate, published in Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.

Johan Wiklund is Kauffman eProfessor and Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University, USA; Professor of Entrepreneurship at Jönköping International Business School, Sweden; and Professor Two at Nordland Research Institute, Norway. His research interests include: entrepreneurial failure; small business growth; the decision to be self-employed; new venture creation; and corporate entrepreneurship.

He is considered a leading authority in entrepreneurship research and has conducted research for European governments and the OECD.
