CVS lab - Windows installation:
After you have downloaded the zip-file, you should carry out the following steps:
- make a folder named: C:\CVSlab
- copy the zip-file to the folder C:\CVSlab
- unzip the zip-file
- remove the zip-file
- add the path "C:\CVSlab" to the system paths (see below) so Windows knows where to find CVS
If you are running Windows 7, you can make additions to the system path in this way:
- From the desktop, right-click My Computer and click Properties.
- In the System Properties window, click on the Advanced tab.
- In the Advanced section, click the Environment Variables button.
- Finally, in the Environment Variables window, highlight the Path variable in the Systems
Variable section and click the Edit button. Add the path "C:\CVSlab" to the existing paths.
Each different path is separated with a semicolon.

If you are running Windows 10, you can make additions to the system path in this way:
- In Search, search for and then select: System (Control Panel).
- Click on the "Advanced system settings".
- Click the Environment Variables button.
- In the section System Variables, find the PATH environment variable and select it. Click Edit.
- Add the path "C:\CVSlab" to the existing paths. Each different path is separated with a semicolon.
