EDAN65 Compilers: Exam October 2020 OLD INSTANCE

The exam October 28 will be on-campus, but specific measures will be taken to minimize risks due to the Corona pandemic:

The exam will be only 3 hours, starting 9:00 and ending 12:00. The number of exam problems is adapted accordingly.
There is a digital backup plan for students with cold symptoms on the morning of the exam.

On-campus exam in MA:8 and MA:9

Keep a safe distance, at least 1.5 m, to everyone else at all times: when entering the room, when in the room, when exiting.
Go to MA:8 if your last name starts with A-H. Go to MA:9 otherwise.
There will be hand sanitizer available. Clean your hands when entering the room.
Choose a prepared table (with exam cover). Put your bag by the wall, including your mobile phone.
If you have cold symptoms, you are not allowed to do the on-campus exam. Instead, use the backup plan below.

The digital exam is the same as the on-campus one, with the same time frame. You get access to it via special moodle links, see below.
Use this option if you have cold symptoms, or if you feel at risk.
Send an email to gorel.hedin@cs.lth.se as soon as you think you will need this option.
You will also need to do a complementary oral exam at a later point in time in zoom, where you will need to explain your solutions as well as answer similar questions.
You will need zoom with camera (mobile phone or laptop), scan equipment (e.g. a mobile phone), and pen and paper.
To prepare for the organization and technicalities involved in the digital exam, do the test moodle exam in advance. In particular, make sure that your zoom works and that you can scan and upload your solutions.
At the exam day:
- Enter the real moodle exam between 8:30-8:45 on the exam day, to set up your equipment and have an exam supervisor check your setup. If you are late, this might infringe on your exam time. You will be able to enter this moodle from 8:00 on the exam day, but the exam problems will not be available until 9:00.
