Significant errors

• These are the greatest mistakes of all...and we are so sorry about this. In the preface, we forgot to acknowledge both Steve Morein and David Wu.
• Also in the preface, "Ulrich Thatcher" should be "Thatcher Ulrich".
• Page 478, the bottom two images of Figure 11.29 are too dark. See the left and right images.
• Page 506, in Equation 12.34, the fourth through ninth terms should all have a factor 3 in front of them. (thanks to Stephen Vincent)

Minor syntax errors

• Page 207 in pseudocode, after the line which says "p=0", add a line with "s=0".(thanks to Robert Moorhead)
• Page 422, two sentences after equation 10.2, it says "...of 4 gives an average of 2.28 draws,..." It should be "...of 4 gives an average of 2.08 draws,..."
• Page 459, figure 11.16: these images printed badly (seems to be a compression error). Better images are here and here.
• Plate XXIX, should say in credit "(Image courtesy of NVIDIA Corp.)" at end, in italics
