Skype billionaires Janus Friis and Niklas Zennström are ready to invest heavily in Danish IT start-ups through their venture company Atomico.

The two friends who also founded the music service KaZaa, became with one stroke many billionaires as eBay bought their company Skype for 16 billion DKK in 2005.
Atomico is looking for Danish IT entrepreneurs that rely on the good idea as well as a strong team behind the idea.
Niklas Zenström is coming to Copenhagen in mid February to meet with 20 Danish IT-entrepreneurs, that the company has specifically looked at.
Atomico is ready to invest money in the IT start-ups first phase which is the riskiest but at the same time also the phase where it is possible to buy shares cheaply.
Atomico is prepared to invest up to 50 million DKK in the right idea. So far, Atomico has invested more than 12 million DKK in Danish-founded Memo Lane.
