Øresund IT fosters new international collaboration

As a direct output of the project Øresund IT Business Trips' first initiative in Austria in December 2010, the Swedish ICT consultancy company Olivetree Solutions has now signed as partner to Austrian Heron Gruppe.

Heron Gruppe is a globally active production company of automatizing components and has its primary client database amongst the greatest European engineering workshops.

Olivetree will be working with support and development of solutions for business systems that can help Heron in their continuous expansion. This work will be done by implementing the overall concept "myworkcenter" into Heron's processes and systems.

To the question about how and why Olivetree landed this deal for a new international collaboration, Anders Eklund answers;

- First and foremost it is our competences in combining technical knowledge and business understanding that has been important to this partner contract. We understand the challenges of the company and are able to find and provide optimizing solutions to them.

This is a good example of the results of the educational project Øresund IT Business trips which Øresund IT are responsible of in collaboration with Invest in Skåne and Enterprise Europe Network. The project is financed by the Leonardo da Vinci fund from GD Education and Culture - Lifelong Learning Programme, and it invites members of Øresund IT to educational study trips to other European ICT clusters to share knowledge, expand their network, and create business opportunities like in this case between Olivetree and Heron.
