Top 10: Here are the most innovative IT companies

International companies dominate the top 10 list of IT departments and companies with a reputation for being the most innovative. Microsoft lags behind, while a small Danish company sneaks in on the list.

Sometimes you don’t get the best results by running faster, but by running in a different direction.



In the Profile-survey 2010, Version 2 has asked 2093 IT professionals, who they see as the most innovative IT workplaces. Here are the top ten workplaces with a reputation for being most innovative:

The big names dominate the ranking list. However the Danish computer game company IO Interactive, can be found on the seventh place, despite the company with its 200 employees is small compared to the well known giants that mostly fill the list.

The IT department of Novo Nordisk can for the first time be found on the top 10 list. The pharmaceutical company's IT department has gone up 13 places from last year, when the department was ranked 23rd.



In addition the Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen has dumped down to the eighth place after having been alternating first and second place for three consecutive years.
