A new web site delivers news and information about products and technologies targeted to IT professionals. Its goals is to further the dialogue between vendors and buyers within the B2B IT market.

Danish IT media have moved away from writing about IT, except for in a business economic context. As much as this might be relevant for executives and others dealing with the financial side of IT, it has left IT professionals in general in an information void. They have been forced to get news and information about products and technology from international sites or directly from vendors and manufacturers.

A Danish news site – IT-dialog.dk – has entered the arena in order to fulfill that need!

News about technologies and products
IT-dialog.dk is a Danish news site where IT professionals find detailed and competent input of value in their everyday work.

Editor-in-chief is IT journalist Torben B. Sørensen, known from his more than 20 years of work for Børsen and Computerworld among others. Torben B. Sørensen will ensure an editorial line of articles and backgrounders on subjects rarely covered by Danish IT media up until now.

- In parallel to a well defined editorial profile targeted at IT professionals, we see it as our mission to inspire dialogue between our readers and the vendors. - Many years of experience from the IT industry have shown us that decisions concerning IT are best made on a firm platform of insight into products and technologies, says John Rasmussen. Even financial and business considerations are supported by technical knowledge in order to answer questions like: “Can new solutions be integrated with what we have already purchased?”, “What kind of features can we expect to get from proposed solutions?”, “Are there alternatives?” etc.
