Pia Kinhult is ready to continue in the Nordic Gränshinderforum

Sweden's representative in Gränshinderforum does not yet know if she will be reelected for coming three-year period. But Pia Kinhult expects to continue working with the Øresund issues no matter what happens.

Together with the ministers of Nordic collaboration the prime ministers of the Nordic countries appoints the representatives of the Nordic Gräshinderforum – a group that works to reduce issues and challenges for inhabitants moving across the Nordic borders.
For the past three years Pia Kinhult has been the Swedish representative, and she is keen to continue the work. But the Prime Minister of Sweden, Fredrik Reinfeldt and the new minister of Nordic collaboration Ewa Bjorling have not yet decided who will represent the Swedish interest in the group in the future.
- I am of course available, but it is not up to me to decide. Now the new government has to decide what they want, says Pia Kinhult to NFÖ.
She expects to keep working in the Gränshinderforum, despite her new appointment as Regional Chairman of the Board of Scania.
- It is clear that the active politicians always have the time against them, compared to the representatives from Norway, Denmark and Finland who are retired politicians. But I would like to still take care of these issues, she says.
