Online security paves the way for digital growth

The Ministry for Science Technology and Innovation in Denmark organizes for the sixth time, the campaign Online Security Now! With the involvement of citizens, movies, songs and much more the campaign spread the word "Think, Blocks, Update".



- Without security and confidence in IT and the Internet the Danes will not use the digital opportunities. Therefore it is an incredibly important area to have a constant focus on. I wish that Denmark must become better at exploiting the opportunities offered by IT. That is why I launched the work program Digital Pathways to Growth, which contains a number of initiatives in which IT can be transformed into knowledge and growth, says the Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, Charlotte Sahl-Madsen.



New initiatives this year


DR's satire program Krysters Kartel has made three videos as a non-traditional way of telling about the importance of online security. In addition, the campaign has also established a "flash mob” where more than a hundred people first come to a standstill and then dance to the song" Think, Block, Update ".
