Strengthening the
Øresund ICT cluster
Øresund IT presents the region in Paris

During the annual PRIT conference in Paris, Øresund IT was asked to present the ICT cluster in the Øresund Region to about 1,200 participants.
On December 13 Micael Gustafsson, Managing Director of Øresund IT, was in Paris to present the region's ICT cluster; initiatives and activities to more than 1,200 participants at the annual Paris Region Innovation Tour (PRIT).
- The conference was a great opportunity for us to expose the region to a large number of important people at the same time. We appreciate the invite from the City of Paris and the French ICT clusters and were very thankful that we had the possibility to present the Øresund Region, says Micael Gustafsson and continues;
This shows that our effort to increase the awareness of the ICT cluster in the Øresund region is now starting to bear fruit.
Besides the large ICT clusters in France, such as Cap Digital and ICT-côte d'azur, a great number of representatives from the European ICT industry also participated in PRIT 2010. Among them were 22 cluster managers from different countries, a large number of government officials, the European Commission and several innovation agencies.
PRIT is a conference which focus on exchanging ideas on co-operation in Europe. The aim is to strengthen existing relationship and initiate international partnerships in different fields such as digital technologies, health and mobility and environment.
