New website for the Øresund anniversary

This summer it has been 10 years since the Øresund Bridge opened and connected Denmark and Sweden even closer and physically. A new webpage presents all the activities to celebrate the collaboration across the sound that will take place in 2010.

The first anniversary activity is the inspiration day "10 ideas 10 years" on March 11, 2010. The event is hosted by the Øresund University and Øresund Science Region under which Øresund IT is a platform and co-hosts by organizing a workshop in collaboration with other platform organizations.

Besides the activity calendar, www.oresund10.com presents a blog and a site for users to upload relevant movies through Youtube.

- We hope for the 10 years anniversary to become a year long event that engages the people of the region; not just journalists and the organizations of our region. We believe Youtube is one way to do so, says Jesper Skjønnemand, web master at Øresundsbron (the Øresund Bridge).

Some of the organizations behind the new website are the Øresund Committee, the Øresund Bridge, the Capital Region of Denmark, Tivoli and Region Skåne.
