Minc is overwhelmed by interest

The Malmö based growth centre Minc continues to receive applications from entrepreneurs and an expansion is being considered.

The management of the growth centre Minc is currently considering to expand the present 25 spaces to 30. On a weekly basis the centre receives 2-3 applications from start-up companies and after accepting 8 new businesses in January the pressure is rising.

7 of 20 business ideas assessed since new year are taken in for a maturing process in a pre-growth centre. Here the upcomers can get a feel of life as entrepreneurs through a three month period.

The overall picture is mainly constituted by ideas coming from the business environment with only few spun out of universities and various institutes.
