Lund University goes to Stockholm
Ambitious Lund University has recently opened an embassy for the university in the centre of Swedish capital Stockholm. Several advantages arises from this new initiative.
Although office space merely covers 25 sqm., apart from access to a conference room, intentions are well thought through and benefits goes both ways.
University Chancellor Anders Flodström explains how Skåne and the Öresund Region has grown both in magnitude and visibility "With the intensified interest for the region it would only seem natural to open an office in Stockholm to further increase the awareness and communicate the activities and results of the region."
But not only companies and organisations are the target groups. The southwestern Swedish university is also very keen on the new contact and information possibilities in relation to people. Apart from attracting attention from companies and universities in the Stockholm area another great option is the ability to attract students and researchers towards Skåne and the Öresund Region.
Finally the new "Lund embassy" in Stockholm is also an well-sought opportunity to observe and learn from the latest tendencies in the great R&D area around Stockholm.
