Strengthening the

Øresund ICT cluster

Focus on Finance & IT

Public funds have made it possible to build the project CFIR that will focus on strengthening the Finance and IT collaboration in the Øresund Region and the rest of Denmark. Øresund IT is one of the 14 partners in this four years EU project.

The Danish Bankers Association is lead partner of the CFIR project (Copenhagen Finance IT Region) that spreads its focus from the Danish capital towards east in the Skåne region as well as towards the western part of Denmark.

CFIR's goal is to generate continuous growth and innovation in ICT concerned with the financial sector. The reason is that development in the financial sector is highly dependent on ICT development in which we know we have a strong cluster in the Øresund Region.
