BrandIT share the knowledge
Posted: December 14, 2010
On December 13th and 14th, BrandIT is in Helsinki for a packed meeting schedule with cluster organizations, incubators, municipalities and living labs. The aim is to get inspiration and share knowledge about how to manage clusters and how to communicate about it.

Finland has a strong and new process experience for public support of high-tech initiatives and is a powerful liaison to the rapidly growing ICT industry towards the east, particularly Russia.
- It is important for us to meet other ICT clusters in order to share knowlegde and experiences because it strengthen us all, says Helena Wiedling, Project Coordinator of BrandIT.
During the trip, amongst others BrandIT meets with the City of Helsinki, which is heavily involed in various projects of the Finnish ICT cluster, and the Helsinki Business Hub, which is the Finnish inward invest organization. The benefits of these meetings are the exchange of knowledge and project models on how Finland works with value popositions of the ICT sector and gaining insight into how the country is branding its ICT cluster.
- The idea is that the knowlegde and inspiration we acquire on this trip will be utilized in the activities for next stage of the BrandIT project, which starts in January 2011. It is always valuable to learn how other regions and clusters are dealing with similar conditions as we have in the Øresund Region, Helena Wiedling concludes.
