TeliaSonera and the first Nordic 4G network

In 2010 Øresund IT member TeliaSonera will launch 4G network in Stockholm and Oslo. Samsung Electronics deliver the 4G modem for the LTE technology.

"Long Term Evolution" (LTE) is the technology behind the fourth generation mobile net, 4G. Samsung will be supplying TeliaSonera with the best LTE equipment which will fully support commercial services in Sweden and Norway during 2010.

- The 4G modem from Samsung is determining the launch of 4G in Sweden and Norway. We are looking forward to sharing their expertice as world leaders within the mobile industry, and have our customers experience mobile services in a completely new way, says Kenneth Karlberg, manager of Mobile Services with TeliaSonera.
