Sweden has the most fiberoptical broadband
Sweden continues to be the EU country with the most fiberoptics penetrating the broadband market with 10.9 %
The Nordic countries are all in the top ten, Norway right after Sweden and Denmark as number five. It is the organization fiber-to-the-home Council (FTTH) that has published the survey which also shows that the number of European citizens with access to fiberoptical internet has gone up 18 % since last year.
- The ranking obviously shows us that it is the Scandinavian countries together with a few other small countries and economies that dominate this list, says spokesman of FTTH, Thomas Kallstenius.
