Podcast project at Ørestad Gymnasium

A creative use of podcasts is a quality increased teaching method and clarifies the performance of individual students even more. Thus a project regarding digitalizing the classes at high school level has been tested at Ørestad Gymnasium.

Here, the students use podcasts to upload oral assignments and answers, giving the teachers and opportunity to hear and assess all students. For the students it is an advantage to practice their oral explanatory skills of languages and science subjects, as well as getting to know technical functionalities and opportunities. The technology has been so easy accessible that this method has not been a barrier to the teaching, Ørestad Gymnasium concludes. The project is funded by the mobile e-learning fund with the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
