Øresund IT about cluster expertise...

On November 26, 2009 Øresund IT's network manager, Philip Stankovski, spoke at the newly established cluster-network platform, REG X's kick-off meeting in Middelfart, Denmark. Reg X is established to support and strengthen clusters and inter-cluster collaborations as well as the focus on clusters' importance as a driver for innovation and growth in a region or country.

The first step towards establishing REG X is to survey the Danish cluster facilitators and the clusters they work with.

REG X is considered to be a national platform for knowledge- and experience sharing. Philip Stankovski thus presented Øresund IT's and our members' work with the region's strong ICT cluster at the event that reached out to all interested stakeholders from private, public and academic institutions participating in the kick-off meeting.

The event presented the results of an online survey amongst cluster actors conducted prior to the kick-off; that essentially outlined external stakeholders' expectations to REG X, the vision and the organization of the project. One of the key focus points is to facilitate new collaborations between Danish clusters and clusters abroad, which Øresund IT naturally will be involved with.
