Mondo A/S is declared bankrupt

Unfortunately the rumors about the Danish consultancy company, Mondo A/S are true, and Monday this week they filed their petition in bankruptcy. The attempt to safe the company and 300 employees did not succeed.

Chairman of Mondo, Ib Kunøe filed for bankruptcy last Monday, since the company was listed for observation at Copenhagen's Stock Exchange in mid November due to an unsatisfying 3rd quarter this year. The subsidiary Mondo Hosting has already been passed on to the company Atea, which bought that part of Mondo's business in July.

There are approx. 300 employees in Mondo's divisions in Denmark, Pakistan and Ukraine. The company offered hosted solutions and developed software to Microsoft solutions, especially focusing on the travel industry. In 2009 the deficit has been minus DKK 22.1 mill. in the first nine months of the year.
