Many Øresund IT members at ARKAD job fair

The annual student job fair organized by the Technical University of Lund is taking place these days, and Øresund IT represents our members at a stand, facilitating contact with young people in the region.

ICT companies from both Denmark and all of Sweden present their activities and opportunities for students these days at the annual job fair, ARKAD in Lund, Sweden. 132 companies have valued the importance of connecting with academia, so that technical students get an insight and information about the market they are about to enter. Wednesday evening, November 11, a social mixer with drinks and gala dinner ensured more informal conversations about companies, studies, opportunities and dreams, and Øresund IT attended the event on behalf of all of our members.

- It is important to us that we can guide the students and encourage them to apply for jobs on both sides of the Sound. We want students to not limit themselves to one job market, and because we know the ICT actors of the entire Øresund Region, we feel like we can really work as an eye opener at events like ARKAD, says Micael Gustafsson, CEO of Øresund IT.
