Computer Sweden has spoken to actors in the Øresund Region, and they all have an overall positive and optimistic attitude. Hans Möller, Managing Director of Ideon Science Park in Lund, says that venture angels and smaller investors are showing interest in the region again.
- It is still tough to get venture capital, but we still see one after one succeeding in the end. There is not the same insecurity as six months ago, says Hans Möller.
Øresund IT's CEO, Micael Gustafsson agrees that there is an optimistic atmosphere amongst the ICT companies in Skåne, Southern Sweden.
- There is a real upturn on inquiries, especially on the Danish side, says Micael Gustafsson. He continues that there are several major Danish government contracts for e-services in the pipeline, and they also take in Swedish consultants. It is important to note though that the recovery is still fragile and slow.
