CSC increases business in Øresund
The outsourcing giant CSC will take over parts of T-systems, who wants to streamline their business. CSC will take over business areas, employees and customers from T-systems.
CSC are already strong in Copenhagen, but have not had any presence in the southern parts of Sweden. Taking over business areas from T-systems is a fast way for CSC to establish themselves in Skåne. After the take over CSC will have some 40 employees in Malmö.
The reason for the take-over is that CSC wants to expand their business in Sweden: They are especially interested in expanding their business towards the public sector. Globally the distribution between public and private customers are 50/50, but in Sweden 80% of their business has been private.
T-systems on their part wants to streamline their business.
Among the
customers that CSC will take over are Tetrapak, Gambro and transportation companies.
CSC are looking at investing much in the Øresund Region in the future and sees it as a strategically important region.
