Urban Transition
City regions and urban environment face an increasing challenge in providing people with sound and sustianable living and working conditions. The Øresund region is expanding rapidly and collaboration across the strait is required to create innovative solutions for increasingly densely populated areas.
How do you go from town and city planning from an authority perspective to finding the actual tools needed for creating functional living and working spaces for the modern society of today? The project Urban Transition aim to create tools for translating ideas and proposals into action, by bridging the gap between academia, businesses and politicians. The ambition is to provide means for a more rapid implementation in a broader scope, compared to showcase areas that have been built up so far in the region.
