MVTCC - Medicon Valley Translational Cancer Cluster
This project propose to establish a translational cancer cluster in the Øresund region that will tie business and clinics closer together in order to create more efficient treatment to cancer patients.
A cluster could offer new technologies and new strategies of working with cancer treatment. Earlier testing of new medicine, via increased usage of bio markers, would mean less expenses and less risk for pharmaceutical companies. It would also imply that patients are offered treatment relevant for their needs. All in all this means a higher quality of life for people with cancer and substantial growth opportunities for companies in the region.
