Gender perspective and the transport sector, Micro
The Øresund region is a transport hub, with lorries, trains, shipping and aircraft. New infrastructure will increase the demand for more freight, with an ever increasing capacity. However, sustainable solutions are few and far between - the region could benefit from a new perspective!
New opportunities increase the demand. In order to balance what is possible with an environmental outlook, the transportation sector could benefit from a new perspective. Traditionally, the transport industry is dominated by males and we would like to explore the benefit of bringing the female perspective on board to add a new dimension in planning strategies for transport in the region.
