PR e-Science

The aim is to promote and strengthen the utilisation of eScience tools by identifying and connecting the eScience-stakeholders and by examining the needs and desires for eScience within industry.

The next 10 years, computational science will grow explosive. This will have a great impact on the social and industrial development. The amount of data produced and collected will increase dramatically. Therefore, there is a need for the development of tools to utilise this data and for spreading the knowledge about these tools. There is also a need for new possibilities for modelling and simulation generated by the continuous development of computer technology.
