New pipeline project: Distributed Economies

Øresund Environment has submitted a pre-proposal for the Nordic Energy Research call on Sustainable Energy Systems. The submitted project focuses on the development of sustainable energy systems through distributed economies.

Nordic Energy Research has launched a new research call on Sustainable Energy Systems worth 100 million NOK. The aim is to develop integrated solutions between Renewables, Low-Carbon Transport and Grids & Markets.

Øresund Environment and partners from Sweden, Finland and Norway has submitted a pre-proposal for the Nordic Energy Research call, focusing on the potential of distributed energy models in the Nordic countries. One of the key principles of distributed energy systems is to shorten the distance between production and consumption for critical services systems, which reduces the amount of energy lost in transmitting electricity
