Guest Seminar at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE)

Seminar Speaker: Professor Chris Ryan
Prof. Chris Ryan is the Director of the Victorian Eco Innovation Lab (VEIL) and co-director of the Australian Center for Science, Innovation and Society at Melbourne University. Prof. Chris worked for over 30 years across various areas of science, technology and environmental policy and design and in projects that span the community sector, academia, government and international agencies, and business. Through VIEL ( http://www.ecoinnovationlab.com/) , Prof. Chris has been leading a number of innovation design and visioning projects for the sustainability transitions in the city of Melbourne including: Mobility in the city of short distances, Sustainable Food Supply System for Victoria, and a new process of 'transition intervention' for starting the transformation of existing urban precincts - a process called Eco-Acupuncture.
