Turns out there was a Väl godkänd grade for the FP exam. Consequently, the 10 students (with 24.5 points or more) have received that grade. The new and improved list is at the Wailing Wall—sorry about the confusion. I’ve updated the overview of the course’s exam structure at the bottom of this page.

New schedule! That’s right, since the half-term there is a new schedule for Dat 501. This took most of us by surprise, including me (even though it shouldn’t have). The first lecture of the new term (Mar 25) is given at the usual, but wrong, time: 13–15. After that, we’ll stick to the new, correct, schedule, so Tuesdays’ lectures will be 10–12 henceforth. Sorry for the confusion. Also note that there are no labs this week (Mar 26–28), mainly because there is a mandatory programming exercise instead.

Exam from 3 Mar 2003 [t030321] (see under Materials on this page).

Mar 21 2003

Mandatory exercise 3 with deadline Apr 1 (see the Schedule page). Rules for handing in mandatory exercises: [adm1] and [adm2] (see under Materials on this page). Changed the deadline for the 2nd make-up exercise.

Be nice to him, though, and respect a closed door.

Uploaded a page with additional exercises: [ex1]. The first set of mandatory exercises is finally graded and available at Sonja Hensel’s office. Oh, and the course pages have a super-cool new look (but you need a standards-compliant web browser to see that)!

Link to Java documentation. Changed my mind about make-up for exercise 2 (was [HR:8.6], is now [HR:7.5] because I am a big softie).

Exercises for Feb 3. Kursombud for Group B.

Bzzzz! The [HR]-exercise for this week’s lab should have been 2.3, not 2.5 (which subsumes 2.3 and is much more involved). My mistake.
