Module on SCM: Video introducing the lecture note
Rather than diving straight into the concepts and principles of Software Configuration Management, we have created this short
video to set the stage. It highlights and motivates the importance of Software Configuration Management and illustrates some of
the core problems it was designed to solve. Recognising these challenges will make it much easier for you to understand and relate
to the concepts and principles presented in the lecture note.
After you have watched the video, take a moment or two to reflect: Have you ever found yourself in one of these situations - or something
similar? If so, the lecture note will help you understand the root causes and show you how to avoid or better manage them.
