Lab exercises week 6:

• Time: Friday 5/12, 8.15-10.00 or 10.15-12.00 (depending on which group you are in).
• Place: Computer lab "Varg" in the basement of the E-building.

You have now seen - and experimented with - two more or less advanced traditional version control tools. This week we move into new territory. You will have to explore the tool Git, which belongs to the family of distributed version control systems (DVCS). In two hours you should try to find out as much as you can about how DVCS differ from centralized systems - and what they have in common.

You should also mail a little something (5-10 lines of plain text) to the lecturer at the end of this lab.
