Software Configuration Management in 90 minutes - lecture

Software Configuration Management

Flipped classroom:

At the flipped classroom we will discuss questions you have for the lecture note (things you don't understand or find strange), SCM in general, SCM for your projects - and I also have a few discussion questions to do in smaller groups in case we have time.

Before coming to this flipped classrom you need to prepare yourself by studying the lecture note.

I have created a short video (in .mov format) (in .mp4 format) that "introduces" the lecture note. The purpose of this short video is to prepare you for studying the lecture note so it will be easier for you to pick up and understand the important things while you are studing the lecture note.

Use the video wisely. If I am going too fast, most video viewers allow you to slow down the speed. If I am going too slow, most video viewers allow you to increase the speed. If you missed something and want to see/hear it again, most video viewers allow you to go back and see/hear it again. If you need a minute to reflect on something, you can pause the video. The video is short, so if you need to brush up things, you can watch it again. The video is short, so don't let your mental flow be interrupted by other things like phone calls, emails, etc.

While you are studying the lecture note, write down things you don't understand or find strange - bring your questions to the flipped classroom and we will discuss them together. If you email me your questions beforehand (at bendix@cs.lth.se) we can have them on slides and discuss them in smaller groups.
