NWPER2002 - Subworkshop on Extreme Programming

Rationale:
Extreme Programming - what is it, how can it be used to support software development, and what are the present experiences?

Keywords:
experience from teaching XP and from introducing it in industry, acceptance tests, test first, refactoring, XP and configuration management, agile processes, pair programming, system metaphor and architecture.

Description:
At the department of computer science at Lund University we are currently running an undergraduate course on team programming based on XP. The teams are coached by older students taking a coaching course. We also have many contacts with industry where XP has been successfully introduced, mainly in small projects. We would like to use this subworkshop for sharing our experiences and discuss selected topics within XP with a larger community.

Form:
The format of this subworkshop will be a structured discussion around 3-4 topics. For each topic we will invite one or two short presentations to kick off a general discussion.
