Generative AI (GAI) tools are a fact of life - both for students during their university studies and when you will work in industry after your graduation. So the overall purpose of "GAI education" at university should be to make you aware of what use of GAI tools is allowed and what is not allowed - both at university and out there in "real life". Furthermore you should get education and practise in how to best use GAI tools and what you should be aware of when using them.
