About us

Johan Hoberg

I am 22 years old and is about to finish my fourth year of studying electrical engineering at LTH. The further in my education I got, the more I began to lean against digital construction and programming. One could argue that I should have chosen Computer Science and Technology, but I do not regret my decision, because I think a broad knowledge base enables you to learn more on your own, after leaving the university. Of all the different courses given here at LTH, the one closest to my heart is definitely Computer Graphics, which is closely connected to my greatest interest, computers and computer games. After having taken both the basic and the advanced course in computer graphics, I knew I wanted to write my master thesis within this subject, but it was not until I teamed up with Paul, that this became a reality.

I am studying Engineering Physics, but time has shown that my interests lean more towards programming, algorithmic theory and similar fields. My one great passion is Artificial Intelligence, but I do not feel that anything of worth can be produced within the 20 weeks of a master thesis, hence my choice of computer graphics, which I certainly find more entertaining, but not as essential for human evolution. During the past 8 years I have focused on a project in algorithmic theory/AI which I have spent much of my spare time working on. This has given me an extensive knowledge of C++, which I am sure will come in handy working on this project.
