Software Configuration Management - Windows installation:

After you have downloaded the zip-file, you should carry out the following steps:

• make a folder named: C:\CVSlab
• copy the zip-file to the folder C:\CVSlab
• unzip the zip-file
• remove the zip-file
• add the path "C:\CVSlab" to the system paths (see below) so Windows knows where to find CVS

If you are running Windows 7, you can make additions to the system path in this way:

• From the desktop, right-click My Computer and click Properties.
• In the System Properties window, click on the Advanced tab.
• In the Advanced section, click the Environment Variables button.
• Finally, in the Environment Variables window, highlight the Path variable in the Systems Variable section and click the Edit button. Add the path "C:\CVSlab" to the existing paths. Each different path is separated with a semicolon.

If you are running Windows 10, you can make additions to the system path in this way:

• In Search, search for and then select: System (Control Panel).
• Click on the "Advanced system settings".
• Click the Environment Variables button.
• In the section System Variables, find the PATH environment variable and select it. Click Edit.
• Add the path "C:\CVSlab" to the existing paths. Each different path is separated with a semicolon.
