In this seminar I would like to present the paradigm of analytical learning 
as a natural combination of inductive and deductive learning. I will justify
the need for such combination by pointing out the limitations of each of
those two approaches and the way they supplement each other. I will also
describe the ALBI system that I implemented as a part of my Masters Thesis
which uses analytical learning to the problem of bridge bidding.
