Laura Begué Granged and Germán Latorre Antín University of Zaragoza, Spain Progress in the development of the Generic Layered Architecture January 29th, 2003, 15.30, Lucas-room Abstract In this talk we shall present our Masters Thesis project related to the Generic Layered Architecture (http://www.cs.lth.se/~jacek/GLA/). The work consists of two parts: 1. Combining all the existing elements of the architecture together (Process Layer compilation and worst-case timing analysis, discrete response layer compilation and worst-case timing analysis, stratification analysis, simulation) into a tool equipped with a decent user inteface allowing the programmer to easily develop and debug code for a real-time application. 2. Discussing the possibility of extending the existing, reactive part of the GLA with a predictable reasoning layer (called analysis layer). The talk will finish with a demonstration of the developed software tool.
